Telling the story of Vernaccia di San Gimignano means a talking about its history, assessing the current situation and examining the future of a territory, a community and the craft of winemaking, which is as old as humanity itself.

The celebrated rural landscape of the Tuscan hills and that of San Gimignano represent the most genuine and significant icon, and could not exist without the reasonably substantial presence of the viticultural fabric, set among silvery olive groves and small farm fields, strips woodlands and mysterious ravines, and extraordinary biotopes where wild fauna thrive, never dying out, making it object of desire of generations and generations of Tuscan hunters. With the changing seasons, the network of vineyards embraces the colors and most beautiful shades of a panoramic mosaic that, in the recent times, has become an attraction and thus economic factor, interconnected with the outstanding features, represented the world over, of a centuries-old city that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
